From paper fax overload to direct digital files
The challenge
A healthcare client received large amounts of paper faxes. The fax machine was constantly busy, and staff had to collect the pages, scan the documents, name the files, and move them to the right location.
The solution
The workflow was changed so incoming faxes arrived as digital files. Documents could move into an organized digital process instead of printing first. The design also created a better path for sorting, routing, and review.
The result
No more paper printing for those incoming files. Staff no longer had to scan each document before using it. The team gained a cleaner starting point for secure document handling and future automation.
The win was simple: the document started digital and stayed digital.
